Villa Iokasti

The maisonette is located in Amoni, near Sofiko. It’s close to Korinthos, ancient Epidaurus, Mycenae, and Nafplio. It combines modern comfort with nature due to the fact that it is surrounded by pine trees and one of its’ strong cards is its’ captivating view of the surrounding area and the sea. There are three (3) beaches only five (5) minutes away. It is only 90min away from the center of Athens and Acropolis. It is ideal for couples and families.

The maisonette is very well equipped and able to accommodate up to 5 individuals, minutes away from many beaches in the area of Pefkali (Korinthos) and just an hour and a half away from the city of Athens and Acropolis. The house is perfect for relaxing vacations or for people who need to venture in the surrounding area and the nearby locations.

In more detail, you can reach many famous points of interest such as Ancient Korinthos within 40 min of driving distance, Loutraki famous natural spa baths also in 40 minutes. Ancient Epidavros in half an hour of driving distance. Epidavros’ ancient theater in 45 minutes. Nafplion, the first Capital of Greece is just one hour of distance from home. Last but not least, to reach the island of Poros, Spetses, and Hydra you would need 1-2 hours through a beautiful route! The strong card of the house is its’ captivating view of the surrounding area and the sea. It is ideal for couples and families, offering absolute privacy for its residents.
Description of the neighborhood
The area is pine and an amphitheater with a unique sea view. There are three (3) beaches in the settlement at a distance of 5 minutes from the house, all with pebbles. They are crystal clear and the sea is deep blue.

In Fragolimano, one of the three beaches, there is a canteen that offers water, coffee, soft drinks and souvlaki, salads for a meal by the sea. The area is ideal for swimming, scuba diving, hiking and mountain biking.
Visitor access
Villa Iokasti is built on a communal plot of 1,300sqm and is the second house in the area. The parking lot next to the house is private.
Ways of transportation
The area requires a car. There is private parking on the plot, next to the house.
Other important information
Villa Iokasti can be a starting point for excursions to archeological sites (Ancient Corinth, Ancient Epidaurus, Epidaurus Theater, Nafplio, Mycenae) which are about an hour away by car and tourist destinations with nightlife (Corinth, Casino Loutra , Poros, Spetses). The village of Sofiko is located at a distance of 10 km where you can buy your supplies. There is a pharmacy and an ATM in the Baths of Oraia Eleni on the main road Corinth-Epidaurus.

I would like to inform you that the settlement has no drinking water supply and all the houses have non-drinking water tanks for general use. At home, there are always at least two bottles of 10lt drinking water for the cooler. You should be provided with appropriate water bottles for your use. There is also a truck ready to refill in case the water in the tank runs out.

PLEASE do not throw paper in the toilets.
